All images on this website are from the original watercolor. It is possible that some originals have been sold, but not posted as such. The artist has begun reproducing his watercolors, and prints are available for most of his original works. His reproductions are printed on demand and will be signed and numbered. They will be printed on watercolor paper, and should be handled and framed as you would the original.

To date, with normal care, it has been documented that these prints, when framed and under glass, will have life of 92 years. To ensure a long display life, protect your print from direct light, cigarette smoke and humidity.

What type of print is this, you ask?
It is a Giclée (pronounced "jee-clay") French for "to spray". It is the name given to the method of plate-less fine art printing that was developed in 1989. The process is extrememly faithful to the original and has great longevity, as they are reproduced with archival ink on acid free watercolor paper.

The images are stored digitally and then sent to a high-resolution printer. Giclée prints have become renowned world wide. This technology produces incredible detail and brilliant color, creating the look and feel of original fine art. Museums throughout the world, including the Louvre, use Giclée prints to substitute works of art too fragile to be exhibited to the public.

When framed and matted the results are quite spectacular. The technology allows for reproduction of the original in a variety of sizes. Please note that image sizes will vary. Also, in order to provide you with the most affordable pricing, as well as allow you to express your own individuality, we do not frame the prints.
